College Visits

During my "College Search" in High School, I had the fortunate opportunity to visit many schools I was interested in. When visiting colleges, keep in mind what you want from a college. For me, housing and environment were two of my top priorities. Academics was also very important to me. Keep in mind that you should have your first choice school, your reach school, your okay schools, and your back-up schools; all of these should be places you could tolerate attending. Don't be shy about asking questions when visiting colleges, even if they seem weird. In interviews and essays for admissions be as honest as you possibly can be; don't necessarily do/say/write what you think they want you to; BE YOURSELF! Bryn Mawr College

Bryn Mawr was the last college I visited and totally off my radar in general on my college search. I visited the school while I was in my application process with all the other schools I decided to apply to (I did not apply to all the schools I visited - based on my visitation I was able to decipher whether or not it was worth applying based on my personal feelings about the schools). I decided last minute to make Bryn Mawr my first choice school and to Early Decision it on my application. I will be attending Bryn Mawr this Fall.
