What do you think?

*some of these are solely based on the birth dates prescribed to the characters by their creators

  2. I think James Bond (played by Pierce Brosnan) should be a Taurus. The actor himself is a Taurus.

    1. Why should he be a Taurus? He's a very mysterious person who enjoys the mystery around him and also likes to mystify others (especially women) with his suave behavior. All these things indicate that he is a Scorpio. His birthday is also speculated to be Nov. 11th, which is Scorpio. Also, James Bond has been played by seven different actors of whom have birthdays falling under Virgo (Sean Connery & George Lazenby), Pisces (David Niven & Daniel Craig), Libra (Roger Moore), Aries (Timothy Dalton), and Taurus (Pierce Brosnan). It would be a very poorly produced series if there could not be some consistency in determining his astrological personality by the actors. I think he overall fits the Scorpio persona regardless of which actor has played him, but perhaps in slightly different ways. Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery are my favorite James Bonds and I think they keep him consistent as a personality. I can't see Taurus at all. In fact, he's the opposite.

  4. I think you choose your favorite people for being a capricorn. Sherlock Holmes? Elizabeth Bennet? Bitch please!

    1. For as many characters as possible, I have used the birthdays given by their creators. Examples for Capricorn include: Eeyore (Christmas), Jacob Black (Jan. 14th), Voldemort, and Snape.

While the others are absolutely my biased opinion, I do have very justifiable reasons for each. I have not written posts about many because I am a very busy college student. I know I have written posts regarding the Hunger Games, Game of Thrones, some of the Ken Follett novels, and Jane Eyre, which you may reference to see the reasons I have categorized some characters. One post I think I have yet to write, which I really should, is my theory about Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett. I also don't believe I've gotten to writing a post about the Great Gatsby either. For both of these novels, I read them early in high school and they are no longer as fresh in my mind as they once were. I also would like to mention that I am a fan of the Colin Firth P&P movie because it's almost word for word to the book and have only seen the Kiera Knightly version once, as I was not impressed with the interpretation.

To be brief about the Elizabeth Bennett theory: in real life, Ms. Austen, a Sagittarius, was in love with a real life Capricorn. They didn't work out. I think that P&P, among many other things, was meant to mirror her own failed relationship, but the gender roles reverse, essentially, allowing the relationship to succeed in the novel. Again, this is very brief and it will probably be a while before I have a chance to revisit this in an eloquent post.

Regarding Sherlock Holmes, I categorized him based on the Robert Downey Jr. movies ONLY. I have not read the books nor seen any of the multiple TV versions and other movies. But, revisiting this, I actually intend to change him from a Capricorn to a Virgo and in truth, I believe I mistakenly put him as a Capricorn because he is DEFINITELY a Virgo. I was surprised when you mentioned him, actually, because I thought I had Virgoed him.

    5. Daria Morgendorffer is definitely a Capricorn thru and thru. Gloomy, reserved, dry, witty, sacastic, loner, indifferent, aloof, snobish but wise, loyal, sensible, sensitive.

    1. Thank you for pointing that out to me! Female Sagittariuses make very interesting people and are difficult to categorize unless they are obvious. IRL, Sagittarius people are VERY easy to ID simply because of the their eyebrow shape. Unfortunately, this isn't necessarily portrayed in characters.

  6. I nearly fainted. I am an Aquarius and why isn't Nico di Angelo (Percy Jackson) on the Aquarius list!! In fact, where are all the Percy Jackson characters.

  7. I agree with most of your list. However, I think Hermione granger, Mr. Bennet should be Libra, Mary Bennet should be Capricorn and Robb Stark should be Auarius.

    1. Hermione Granger's birthday makes her a Virgo, according to J.K. Rowling. It's very interesting because Ron is her opposite, Pisces.

I'd like to hear your theory about Mary Bennet. I think she epitomizes a typical Virgo woman. She's a bit prudish, practical, perfectionist.

I could believe Robb Stark as an Aquarius, but I'd like to know more about your conclusion?

I almost made Mr. Bennet a Libra, but I ultimately landed on Cancer because he is a major homebody and cares about his appearance more than what's right.

I would be more likely to lean towards Tyrion as a fire sign than air if not Virgo. I could believe Sagittarius, considering his curiosity about the world and intrigue with travel and people. What makes you think Libra?

As I've also previously stated, I could believe Robb an Aquarius, what's your theory behind that?

I strongly feel that Mr. Bingley is a Libra. He's emotional, loving, easily falls in and out of love. He's caring and affectionate. He is fair and kind to all. I definitely don't think he's a Virgo.

  9. Mr Darcy is not a sagittarius imho.
    He is a capricorn.

    Mr Darcy - Capricorn
    Lizzy - Scorpio
    Jane - cancer
    Mr Bingley - pisces
    Mary Bennet -gemini
    Lydia bennet - aquarius
    Kitty - Sagittarius
    Mr Bennet - pisces
    Mrs Bennet - Aries
    Charlotte Lucas -Virgo
    Caroline Bingley - Taurus
    Lady Catherine de bourgh -LEO
    Mr Collins -?????????

  13. Wait. No. No no no. No. No. No. NO!!! I'm sorry, but you seriously see ELIZABETH BENNETT as a Capricorn?! Not in this world or in any other. The ONLY reason I can come up with for this error is that you love this character as much as I do, and YOU must be a Cappy yourself? Lizzy is without doubt an air sign. The only one in the book to drag the poor woman down is MR. Darcy, who is in fact the likely Capricorn (or possibly a Scorpio with a Capricorn Rising). I peg her as one of these three: Aquarius, Gemini or Sagittarius.

  16. I love this. Might I say, however, that Alice from Alice in Wonderland is also strongly associated with being a Taurus? The entire book/story takes place on May 4th, which was the birthday of the real Alice Liddell who inspired the tale, and Alice (from the books, at least) shows many Taurus traits as well as Aquarius ones! She's said to have a great interest "in matters of eating and drinking" and can be quite stubborn, and is most likely the only Earth sign in Wonderland where everyone except for her is a bit mad. But I love your list (Jane Eyre IS a Cap and no one can tell me otherwise)!!!
